Cooking Adventures

As the MIL is away in KL again, I decided to whip up a storm again. This time it was more stressful, because besides feeding the husband, I also needed to feed the FIL.

It was stressful because the FIL's tastebud has been pampered by the MIL's fantastic cooking for decades, and now, he would have to try my noob cooking.

Hope I did not cause any food poisoning in any one of them.

On the table (clockwise direction): Honey fried chicken wings, Portobello mushroom stuffed with mozarella cheese (done by the husband!), Egg tofu with minced pork, stir-fried xiao bai chye.

Bad bosses

What a pity. My 101th post dedicated to this post .

When I saw this, I was like "wow, totally apt, and totally describing how I am feeling right now".
After a few organizational changes which I had hoped can help undo all the damages that had been done, I realized that we are still stuck with this unchanging legacy.

And which category am I in, you may ask. I am the remainder who has lost all motivation, every single bit of it. Just because I am newly married and in a unstable stage of my life right now.

For this I would like to tell you, that my life has never been as stable as right now, And if that promotion of yours require me to surrender and sacrifice my family life, thank you but no thanks. I am not a single bit interested.

Honeymoon Day 1 (22 Jun) #fail

Since I have another 4 more hours to kill before my next flight out to Athens, I might as well use this time constructively and blog about my honeymoon trip. 

This was my #ootd shot while waiting to be checked in (at probably 11p-ish)  Finally had the chance to use the Hello Kitty luggage which I bought before my wedding.

This was me, at 1am-ish. Still happy and waiting for the time to board! 

And this was us at probably 3am-ish when we were told that our flight to Doha could be delayed and could even risk being cancelled if the technical fault could not be resolved by the engineers. 

The rest was history. Our flight was cancelled at 430am and we spent the next 2 hours queueing to get ourselves either transferred to the next earliest flight or transfer to other airlines that was gonna be flying to Doha. 

Lots of fuming passengers in the queue and the Qatar staff were inexperienced and many of them didn't know what to do. They took an average of at least 20mins to arrange for the next flight out for each passenger. 

  

We got ourselves a 10.40am flight out to Doha and then another excruciating 6 hours transit time before our next flight to Athens at 730pm (local Doha time). We spent a total of 11 hours waiting in Changi airport today. 

Supposed to reach Athens today (22 Jun) at 12pm but now we are only reaching there at 12am. 

Life sucks for us at this point of time, but I'm glad I've reached safely in Doha and I'm praying for a safe flight out to Athens later. 

Can't wait to start my honeymoon proper tomorrow. 

Regret

The only regret in my life would be the "us" that was never meant to be.
