FIRST PICTURE OF OUR HOUSE!

The thing about social media is that information spreads like wildfire. Our future neighbour had posted on a facebook group that our house premises have been opened to the public and residents are able to go check their houses out. When we saw the information, the both of us couldn't wait till the next day to arrive to go visit our house!

We couldn't contain our excitement anymore when the next morning came, and decided to drive down to Punggol to take a look. Before we went, we were quite dismayed when we saw that a few of our future neighbours had said that the gate to the entrance was still locked. We decided to go down anyway.

Indeed, when we arrived, the gates were locked. We were " so near yet so far" to our home :( . The heavy downpour aptly reflected the disappointment we felt. Since the gates were locked, we went to the front of the construction to have a better look of our house, and also to take a shelter from the heavy rain. When the rain subsided, we decided to try our luck again and drove to the gates to see if it was opened. Thank God for my perseverance!! Because the gates were opened!

I saw a construction worker near the gates, and I dashed to ask him for permission to enter, but he denied my request and said that on weekends, it was only open to other workers or vendors. The site would only be opened to the public on weekdays, and then he left. The gates were however opened. Both of us, refusing to give up, still lingered around the premises until a very "garang" uncle alighted from his car, and nonchalantly walked through the gate and into the site. That gave us courage. Haha..

And "let's go" were the words the husband said to me, and off we went! We passed by several construction workers, but they did not stop us so we took it as them giving us the green light to enter.

Our new place was like a maze! And we felt like maze runners! Trying to figure out the way to our block within the limited time we had (we needed to avoid getting chased out by other workers who did not approve!). And finally, we saw our block! But both lifts were down, and so we excitedly climbed up the stairs and Ta-daaah!

Here we were ..... at our new place!!!
That feeling was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!

And of course, I needed to take some #ootd #wiwt in front of my door and also some #wefies.

Cannot wait to move in already.

See you soon, my house. :)
